Alpha - Ekspress is a JV between RUT & neighboring fertilizer terminal. It operates 2 locomotives to provide railway marshalling/shunting and wagon storage within RUT.
- well-integrated into the Russian rail network (1520 mm rail gauge);
- 16km of tracks with storage capacity for 500 wagons;
- able to handle 2x block train operations simultaneously;
- average handling time of 3 - 5 hrs/block-train.
